I started giving Brody Puff's last week and he loves them. He gets so excited when he sees me holding the container. I also started teaching him sign language. So far, I am only signing eat and more with him. After each Puff, I sign more and he starts flapping his hands in excitement, its too cute.

More teeth
Brody is going to have a full mouth of teeth before I know it. His top right middle tooth came in last week(6/15)and his left incisor came in on Monday(6/21). I remember when Kate's teeth where coming in, she wore a bib 24/7 for a couple of months and always had a running nose. Brody is the total opposite. He hardly ever drools and only had a runny nose when his first tooth came in.

Swimming
We have been at the pool almost everyday since we have been back. Kate and Brody both love the water. I can tell the swim lessons are working because Kate is constantly putting her whole head in the water. She would never do that before. At swim lessons last week, the instructor had her sit on the edge of the pool with her hands out(diving position) and go into the water. She was under water for a couple of seconds before she came up to swim back to the ledge(all with help from her teacher). I am amazed at how much she has learned in 4 lessons.

Crawling
This post is way over due. Brody started crawling a couple of Saturdays ago(6/5). Justin put him on the trampoline to see what he would do and he started crawling. I don't know if the bounce of the trampoline helped him out or not but he has been on the go ever sense.

Swim lessons
We have talked about putting Kate in swim lesson for the past 2 years and finally signed her up this summer. She goes twice a week for 6 weeks. Her first lesson didn't start out too well as she was crying and not wanting to go with her teacher. After crying for about 5 minutes she finally calmed down and enjoyed being in the pool. I was very surprised she started crying because she loves getting in the pool. Once in the pool, she did great, she let the teacher dunk her, she was blowing bubbles and floating on her back. I hope by the end of the six weeks she is able to swim by herself.

7 months
My little Brody bear is 7 months today!!! He is finally over his jet lag and doing great. His top left middle tooth pushed through last Monday(5/31), and he is chewing on everything. I took him to the Dr. last week to get his 6 month shots and mentioned to the Dr. that he had really dry skin. After looking at his skin she said he had a mild case of eczema. She told me I needed to change his bath soap and lotion to fragance free. I can already see a difference in how his skin looks and feels. I forgot to get Brody's measurements but did see his weight, he now weighs 15lbs 9oz.

Home Sweet Home
I love being back! We flew back on Monday and I think everyone is pretty much over jet lag by now. Justin was originally suppose to fly back at the end of June for a couple of weeks but his scheduled changed and he flew back with us. Thank goodness he did. I don't think I would have made it by myself. 2 kids, 2 suitcases, 2 car seats, 2 carry on bags and 1 stroller. I'm certain I would have lost a bag or a kid. Kate was absolutely perfect on both flights. She either watched movies or colored the entire time. The only day she was jet lagged was Tuesday morning, she woke up at 4:30 am, I told her she had to stay in her room and color until I came back to get her. Brody, was good on the first flight(5 hrs) and pretty good on the second one(10 hrs). The last 3 hours of the second flight he was very cranky. He was still on Baku time, which meant it was 11pm, way past his bed time. Monday night he woke up several times and was up from 2-4:30 am, Tuesday night he was still waking up several times and Wednesday was up from 3:30-4:30. I am trying to keep his schedule the same but am letting him sleep longer during his morning naps. I'm hoping tonight he goes back to sleeping through the night. During the flight(s) Justin and I both agreed, we are not flying with the kids until Brody is at least 3.
