Swimming

Kate had her last swim lesson of the summer last week and I am amazed at how much she has learned. She can now swim underwater by herself and loves jumping off the edge of the pool and swimming to us. Justin and I decided we are going to keep her in swim lessons year round, instead of only in the summers.
Last Friday, I took Kate to see her new school and she loved it. She is is so excited to start. She will start, once we close on our new house in Katy, which should be a couple of weeks.

9 months

Brody is 9 months today! Oh, how time has flown by. I remember the first couple of months, when all I wanted to do is sleep longer than 3 hours at a time. Now, Brody is sleeping 12 hours at night, plus 2 naps during the day. He is such a mellow baby, he just goes with the flow. He added a new word to his vocabulary, "bye bye" and even waved when he said it. Brody loves Kate and follows her wherever she goes, he thinks she is just the funniest person.

People are constantly telling me, "Brody looks just like Justin". CONSTANTLY!!! Okay, I get it, Brody is Justin's mini me. Well, I was going through some old baby pictures and found a picture of me at 7 months. I think Brody resembles me in the picture. You be the judge, and if you still think Brody looks like Justin, don't tell me.
