Potty
We introduced Brody to the potty about a month ago, before bath we would sit him on the toilet and within seconds he would say "all done". When actually he hadn't even peed. We continued every night and most nights he never did anything. We never put too much into it knowing he is only a little over 2 and would eventually learn. At school, his teacher puts in on the potty before every diaper change to get him more familiar with it and he will go sometimes. In the last couple of days he has gone several times and after he finishes he says "I did it, I go pee pee in potty", it is so cute. We are going to continue to take the laid back approach with him as he is still pretty young and there isn't any rush. Now, if by summer he isn't potty trained then we are going to get serious.
Uno
We have played Uno pretty much every night since Kate got it for Christmas. She LOVES to win, even has a song and dance she does when she wins. She also HATES to lose and is a sore loser. Whenever Justin, Kate and I play, they team up against me, giving my the skip, +2, +4 or reverse cards to get me to lose. They think it's funny. Kate and I played three times the other night and I won all three times. Kate was not happy and was acting like a big baby. I on the other hand couldn't stop laughing because I was actually trying to lose. I can't wait until Brody is old enough to play, maybe he and I will team up against Justin and Kate.

Zoo
Since Justin was off work on Monday and the kids didn't have school we decided to take them to the zoo. While walking in we ran into our friends The Eastman's which was a nice surprise and spent the day with them. The only animal Kate wanted to see was the giraffe's which happened to be the last animal that we saw. Brody enjoyed looking at all the animals but loved the petting zoo the most. He is so funny, he is frightened of our neighbors lab but went right up to the goat and started petting it. We ended up buying a year membership as it would pay for itself if we go again. Plus they do a lot during the holiday season which will be nice to take them to next Christmas. When we do go back we will pack lunches, snacks and drinks as it makes it easier and cheaper than eating there. Kate kept asking for cotton candy, so on the way out I bought her some. It was the first time she had ever had it and she loved it to say the least.
