That afternoon, we went to a birthday party for one of her school friends. They had a lady doing face painting and I asked Kate if she wanted to get her face painted. She said, no. Let me give you a little background information on my OCD child. She HATES to get her face/clothes/hands/feet wet(except for bath time). Has a complete fit. If her top gets a little, tiny bit wet, she wants to change clothes. At school if they are doing an activity with shaving cream, she will not participate. Justin blames me for her OCD, and I will accept part of the blame. I am always telling her, don't get dirty, stay clean. I just cant stand dirtiness and now that I have a boy it is inevitable. Okay, back to the story. I asked Kate if she wanted to get something painted on her hand. After a pause she said, yes. Kate sat down in the chair and told the lady that she wanted a ladybug on her hand. I guess she didn't hear her and started painting one on her face. I held my breath, and waited for the meltdown. After a couple of minutes, she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "I don't want it on my face, I want it on my hand." I told her she could have both, one on her face and one on her hand to match her pretty dress. To my surprise she accepted that answer. The party also had bubble guys, they would do tricks with bubbles and then put a kid in the bubble. Kate had been to a party before, that had the same guys but didn't want anything to do with them. Today, she was mesmerized by then. She even volunteered to be in the bubble. So, she got on the platform and the guys pulled a balloon over her. While in the bubble, the men told her to squat down, so she did. As she went to squat, she pulled her dress all the way up, so it wouldnt get dirty. Everyone at the party got to see her Snow White panties. It was too funny and I wish I had taken a picture of it.
Oh, the iPhone. Justin has created a monster with his iPhone. He downloaded some games for Kate to play and now all she wasnt to do is play on his phone. As soon as he gets home, she says "can I play games." The sad thing is, she knows how to work the phone better than I do.

Good luck trying to keep Brody clean! I was like that in the beginning with Jack and it was hopeless. The dirtier he is, the happier he is! I think its cute now and just let him get as dirty as he wants!!
