Curly vs. Straight

Whenever I describe Kate, I always start with- she has long loose curls. She has the prettiest/craziest curly hair. One morning my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to straighten her hair. I put the straightener on the lowest setting and it took me less than 5 minutes to do. The result, WOW!! Her hair was so long and soft.
Justin couldn't believe I would straighten her hair. He kept saying "She's not even 4 yet, you cant straighten her hair". Believe me, this is not a daily, weekly or even a monthly thing I plan on doing. She looked so much older and didn't look like my baby girl anymore.
Kate loves playing the alphabet and spelling game. The alphabet game is where I say the letter and she has to tell me a word that begins with the letter. She can tell me several different words for each letter and I always try to get her to tell me new words. Lately, she has been wanting to know how to spell everything. Kate will pick a word and then I will spell it with her repeating me. Hopefully all the practicing will pay off.
